“Trust Me Enough”
Trust me Enough to let things happen without striving to predict or control them. Relax , and refresh yourself in the Light of My everlasting Love. My Love-Light never dims, yet you are often unaware of My radiant Presence. When you project yourself into the future, rehearsing what you will do or say, you are seeking to be self-sufficient: to be adequate without My help. This is a subtle sin – so common that it usually slips by unnoticed.
The alternative is to live fully in the present, depending on Me each moment. Rather than fearing your inadequacy, rejoice in My abundant supply. Train your mind to seek My help continually, even when you feel competent to handle something by yourself. Don’t divide your life into things you can do by yourself and things that require My help. Instead, learn to rely on Me in every situation. This discipline will enable you to enjoy life more and to face each day confidently. (Psalm 37:3-6; Philippians 4:19; Proverbs 3:5-7 – NKJV)
(I really wish I knew who wrote this wonderful piece!) The essence of “Trust Me Enough” is Jesus’ Desire for a moment to moment “Oneness” between He and each child of God!!! This “Oneness” is changing the life that my wife and I share with Him every moment of every day we walk this earth!!! Were it not for The Holy Spirit of God Guiding this unknown author’s interpretation of these two scriptures found in Psalm and Philippians, we, and I’m sure others, would still be hopelessly struggling against our fears, hurts, self-destructive desires and our inabilities to control the events and future of our lives during our time here on earth.)
Moment to Moment
God Created Adam and Eve in The Garden of Eden. The Garden was Perfect as God is Perfect, as were Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve lost that Perfection when they took the serpent’s temptation to do the one thing God had commanded them not to do. When they broke God’s Commandment they lost their God-Given Perfection. Thus, Adam And Eve’s genealogy – to include every human to ever exist on this earth, are sinners.
What if today, in this world of blatant rejection of God’s Commandments, we each stopped our lives where ever we are on this earth and reach out, Spiritually, and take Jesus’ Hand. What if, in taking His Hand, we let and allow Him to Lead us through all our thoughts, decisions and actions each moment of each and every day for the rest of our time left in this life here on earth? Would the world begin to return to the “original” Garden of Eden?
God, as Jesus, through The Holy Spirit has Spoken very clearly in His Holy Word that we are to “be Perfect, just as your Father in Heaven is Perfect.” (Matthew 5:48) God gave up His only Begotten Son so that each of us will have a chance of obtaining Eternal Salvation. This Perfect Salvation does not exist or co-habit with sin of any kind! Thus, those who repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, will and must turn away from their path of sin and begin on the path leading to God’s Perfection.
Again, if we commit and trust Jesus with absolutely every moment of our lives, either awake or asleep, He will Guide and Lead us moment to moment of each and every day of our remaining time here on earth. In His Guidance, He will Suggest, Encourage and Guide us, literally, each step of our way on His Path to our Perfection and ultimately our Eternal Salvation.
I know it is hard to even visualize, but if each and every human on this planet made this commitment to live his or her life with their hand grasping the Hand of our Savior, Jesus – would not each person become “Perfect, just as your Father in Heaven is Perfect”!!! Would not this truly be “Heaven on earth?” Would not this be His “Perfection” at our finger tips when each of us hold The Hand of our Savior each and every moment, of each and every day that we have left on this earth?!! Because only then can our sinful self that prevents us from being “…Perfect, just as your Father in Heaven is Perfect” be done away with Eternally!!! (1 Corinthians 13:10)
Can you imagine your world NOT being filled daily with pain, fear, hate and hardships? (1 John 4:18) Depend on Jesus throughout every decision, thought and question that arises in your life every moment of each day! If this were not possible, God would have had it written in His Holy Word and He didn’t!!! What He Did was to Sacrifice His Son Jesus, so that we can do this very thing!!! However, it is our choice to make, along with our total willingness not to quit or give up in our walk with Jesus throughout the remainder of our earthly life. Think about it: when you and I open our Spiritual eyes the moment after we close our “worldly” eyes for the last time, do we want to still be holding His Hand or do we want to be standing on the platform of Judgment before God Almighty?!!!! (1 John 4:17)
“Oh Spirit of our Holy God, let Thy Merciful Grace be upon us forever!!!”
